Just a heads up...new headlights available
« on: Sep 21, 2005, 06:49PM »
Hi guys,
It's been a while since I've dropped by but I thought some of you may be interested in this:

We'd have to figure out shipping costs, but I can't imagine it would be too expensive.

Cheers all!

I can vouch for the lamps... DEPO brand, very high quality. There are pictures of my car with them on in that link Jeff provided. :)

Word of Warning for Ozzie U13 owners

These lights do fit our cars but the grill (in between the headlights) will not.  The area where the grill clips on to the car lights is different (pop your bonnet and look at where your grill clips onto the lights and look at the lights in the pic above). If anyone are still keen on these lights 2 options are available.

a) Mod the current Grill (involves cutting up)

b) Get the US front grills which will fit these lights

I know cos I got my new bling bling from the US (Euro headlights so called) and it's the same as the above (and the clips are in different positions)
I reject your reality and subsitute it with my own.....

then you should write up a FAQ to show AUS/NZ members how its done. I can also vouch for these headlamps DEPO is an OEM manufacture for many auto companies, so these are not some cheapo crap.

Well it'll be good if I have done it.  But I havent.  Just got it 2 days ago.  Will be another couple of weeks before I will sit down to work on them.  I aint too keen on cutting up the grill just yet.  Will post something once I got em done.

Are the headlight lens made out of glass or plastic?
