just a suggestion
« on: Jun 20, 2005, 09:08PM »
Just a suggestion but instead of saying super low king springs lower your car 2 - 2.5 inch's  why dont you we do before and after pics. This is because i put low king springs in and my car still sits like a nissan patrol. Even though 1 - 1.5 inch's sounds alot. Maybe its just me but i want to be shown what my car will look like before and after cosmetic modifications seeing as the majority of us have the same car.

Again its just a suggestion

Take it up with King Springs, they may refer you to the thousands of other people who have done this and found that after a week the springs "sag in".

Also, I think Tas has a tissue for you.

You could possibly look through the members ride section at cars that have lowered springs fitted and at cars that don't.

it's just a suggestion.

Also, I think Tas has a tissue for you.

nope, I've run out - Will sandpaper do?

Why on earth would I use tissues to soak up oil after servicing my car? ::)

How did you go Matti, have they sagged since you posted this thread?
I put lows in my Corsair on thursday, it handles soooo nice now sticks to the road like sh*t to a blanket (compared to what it was like before anyway).  I want to drive it more but I'm working for dad so I'll have to wait.... cheers

How much did it cost you to get done? I am considering it but as with everything price is the main issue.
Plus i hate the fact that i can fit my clenched fist between my front wheel and the tyre well :(
We're here for a good time, not a long time.

So hold on bitches.....

'low' king springs are good in the fact that they do noticably lower the car and still enable decent drivability. dont forget after installing super lows you will most likely have to be more conscious about the inclines / speed bumps you can take. i love the fact that i dont have to worry about scraping my bumpers / exhaust and still have a nice ride hieght with my low springs.

but admittedly super lows DO look damn cool...

dont forget peoples that tied old springs like mine were before i went lows are in fact lower than supper lows as they are stuffed. so when i put my lows in the car actualy gained some hight.
