series 1 & 2 differences...
« on: Sep 24, 2002, 01:48AM »
ok, people are always asking, so heres a few ways to tell between a series 1 & 2 trx... if you know of any other differences, feel free to add to the list

series 1...

  • filled in circle around the word "nissan" on the grille logo

  • rectangular indicators which sit lower on the front quarter panel

  • lack of red pinstiping/piping on seats

series 2...

  • hollow/outlined circle around the word "nissan" on the grille logo

  • bullet shaped indicators which sit higher on the front quarter panel

  • pinstiping/piping on seats

Base model Commo is an executive.  Hmmm.   ???

Us 2.0 drivers don't need a clock, that's why we have wrists, upon which we can attach watches.

Hey guys, just noticed another diff between the two series:

Series I:

         - Rear number plate surrounds are black.
         - SMALL strip below rear light is black plastic.

Series II:

         - Rear number plate surround is COLOUR CODED.
         - Small strip below rear light is transparent red (looks like part of brake light).

The best way to show this is by looking at the back of Adam J's car!!! Look really closely and you'll see that the left taillight is Series I and right is Series II! Just click the >> TRX << link on one of Adams posts.

Adam I'm not selling out your car or nuffing it's just a good example!

another series 1/2 difference.

on the dash, the series 2 has an extra vent on the passenger side designed to demist the passenger side window.

the series 1 does not have this.

Hey noss, are the window winders and door lock snubs differant on series 1 versus 2?  Urqs winders aren't as fat, as his door lock snubs have a differant grippy surface on them.

Urq's are differant to mind, but I'm not sure if its the same differance between Pintara's
dont piss me off with your pillarless shit captain snappy wrist
