Auto LSD converting to Manual... is it useable?
« on: May 15, 2009, 11:19AM »
Hi all,
Looking for another daily, as my R30 skyline is going to be off the road for a bit getting a going over

I have been offered a good U12 Ti, grey interior, gunmetal exterior, under 170,000km and a pretty good price

Of course its auto

I would like to do a manual conversion!

The car will likely come with some spares, including a 5 speed from a corsair ghia

My question is:
Can the LSD from the Ti be used with the 5 speed manual g'box?

It would make driving alot more enjoyable, better efficiency, and I have owned a auto Ti already (that got parted out last year)

The auto's arent bad, im just wanting a manual!

The reason im getting this Ti is its cheap, its from a good mate, and is comfeh like a sofa

Plans are once iv got it is
MANUAL CONVERSION
CAI
a stage 3 chip,
better exhaust,
king lows,
gloss black steelies with good tread (15" if i can fine them)
tint
strut braces
bendix ultimate pads or similar
And maybe oneday a SleepaTi inspired setup...DE or low torque 24E boostage

I scored a microtec MT4 fuel only ECU that i will sell to get nistune setup etc
