stripped spark plug thread

anyone install a Heli-coil on a 2.4??  #2 plug was threaded cocked and doesnt bottom in the head...i believe its gonna need to be drilled and a Heli-coil..how do i make sure the repair is aligned straight??

might be easier to get a pro to do it, around $100 to my knowledge.

lol, did you try and install the spark plug when the engine was hot?

a mate of mine did this and i think it costed him around $250 to get done by a pro  :-\

cylinder head shop charged me $50 to heli-coil that shit. it sucked because it leaked anyway. that head is gone now luckily.
