Does the U12 KA24E have a fan circuit that stays on after the ignition is turned off. My coolant was boiling today, when the car was turned off, but the fans did not turn on. I can remember if they are supposed to turn on or not.
Cheers.

I had a similar situation a few months back and didnt get any fans staying on when keys turned off.  I also thought they were supposed to stay on, but thinking about it, the fact that the coolant is boiling may make it tricky for the sensor to figure out whats going on?  I dont know???
Point is that it didnt happen for me either.

Engine may be off but ignition is on. thats what i would think they were referring to.

Unless you had electric water pumps, it would be slightly useless to run the fans without the engine running to pump the water around... I mean you would cool down the water in the radiator which would help when you restarted the car, but it's probably not ideal if you wanted to cool the engine.. Cost of an electric water pump & installation probably not worth it unless you are producing some serious heat :D lol i love that face

mines never done that with boiling coolant either. I dont think the u12 is that advanced. when the key is in off position the ecu has no power, so how will it know the engine is hot?

I think the sticker refers to sticking your hands in the engine bay while the engine is running. The fans wont run when the engine is not idling, even if the key is in on position.
