Found a 89 Corsair UA

hey guys i found a 89 corsair ghia ua for 500 bucks...but it needs a gearbox. it had an auto in it how easy is it to put a manual in. how much would a gearbox cost and do you think its worth getting

A wrecker will probably charge about $1000 for all the stuff you need to do manual conversion to an LSD box.  Its not that hard of a task to actually swap over though, bit of dicking around, but not so bad solong as you are a bit mechanically minded.  It all just bolts strait up.
