after days of investigation its the water pump which is the culprit,i came to know because its leaking loads of coolant.
hrm is this right? if the water pump goes haywire does it result in coolant being leaked from just underneth the waterpump?
are there any ways of checking the water pump to see if its bust?
just read in the fsm user manual that if the timing belt is broken it may cause coolant leakage at the water pump. Although, doest the U12 TRX have a timing chain? and if that chain was broken wouldnt it have taken out other parts of the engine like valves etc? Also if the chain were broken in a certain part the linkages would be gone and the chain unable to rotate properly?
also if OilICoolant or water is stuck to the belt. it can cause Coolant leakage at water pump. so why does this actually make the water pump leak coolant?
so whats the best way to check if this is correct?
