custom roof lining

the old stained fabric on my corsair roof began to sag so i decided it was time it fix it up. first pulled the ceiling out of the car and removed the old fabric from the cheap board underneith. next i wet out 1 layer of fibreglass over the ceiling to give it better strength. then i wiped out the orbital sander and gave it a sand.
taxed some cheap flow coat from work and had some leftover grey pigment that i also stole from work. fleckcoated the board and wallah.
She looks pretty sweet and is stain proof maybe a bit more sound proof? looking at stealing enough materials to do the whole interior, would look awesome having

hey mate looks good!!
if you want it to look a little better i can suggest painting you sun visors and jesus christ handles black and then giving them a clear coat (otherwise when people look for something to hold on to when you fang it around a corner they'll get a black stain on their hands  :P)
when i recovered my roof in the leopard print the sunvisors looked pretty crap so i painted them black and it made it look shmick  8)

interior plastics = use VINYL DYE not paint!

Easier, better finish, more durable, cheap and far better suited for the purpose of colouring plastics and vinyl.
