1990 pintara- 5 speed

165000 km second hand engine about 5000 km ago but im not sure how many k's engine has done im planing on buying a recon to do up not sure

haha. oh boy. 346 028 klms as of today. ka24e. 5spd 1991 nissan stanza. In the very cold winters of Montreal CANADA.
original gearbox and engine. original timing chain. often sees the redline. and hits 225km/h almost every day on my way to school or work.

i think he's converting miles to km the wrong way 225 is about 140.

140 miles is 225 km... i'd believe 140 km

You've lost me. I get that 140mph = 225km/h. You should get more km than miles when you convert.

AFAIK The conversion factor is about 1.6... miles to km you multiply by 1.6, km to miles you divide by 1.6.

'90 corsair ghia, have lot a k's ,still all original engine(fixed an oil leak). have replaced two clutches, two master cylinders, on the second set of engine mounts....

And the Pintara will be gone very soon.. written off, kinda.

Final figure is just over 260, 000k's with the automatic transmition having given up very recently.

My car is on 80, 000 - if it lived to see the amount of k's the pintara did without a rebuild, i'd be very happy.

bonnet and boot bracing pulled away only real problems

update:
1990 Nissan Pintara TRX
316,201km
New timing chain
New engine mounts
New suspension - springs, shocks, front bushings, front strut mounts, bump rubbers/boots
New fuel pump
New distrubutor cap/rotor/seals
New exhaust (old one had holes through the pipe seams)
New headers (nothing wrong with old cast iron ones though)
New front wheel bearings

Apart from that, the engine and running gear are all original, and the engine is beautifully clean inside and out. Testament to the quality of Nissan engineering, especially since I drive "with spirit" quite often...

As far as I know, they use metric in Canada, just like we do...

Update on my car, 357500km, but driven it around with a blown HG (or cracked head) for over 10,000km, and looking to replace it soon (probably in the next month or two). Going to have a look a possible replacement car in the next few days, '94 EF Falcon.

motor done about....120-150*** i think from memory.

new diff's done about 100 kays, an it's already broken-ish

ohh that would be great man. I warn you vl dashes are bitches to pull appart and put back together. It took my old feller 5 hrs to put mine back together after my brother and i ppulled it apart.

has travelled a grand total of 255,000km
got the car about 25thousand Km ago
havent had any trouble wat so ever, its a very well looked after car
shockies r starting to give now tho, caus they're the original's

1990 UA Corsair sedan 2.4i

Original everything except brake master cylinder. Bought it in '94 at ~70,000 Km. Now has ~252, 000 Km. Did 5000 in the first month I owned it. Hardly missed a beat.

Recently blew a seal from the auto and lost a lot of fluid. That and the age has resulted in the clutch being "Well Done". Still drivable even if a little sluggish. Also machined the discs for the first time since buying it.

Anyone know where I can get a clutch kit for it? Or what my options are? Rebuild? Second hand gb? Any pointers wiould be helpful. I have been quoted $2000

engine reconditioned about 20,000 kms ago.

but umm... my odomemter wasn't working for about a year, so this isn't that acurate
