Another CAI setup
« on: Oct 26, 2004, 12:21AM »
I cut a hole where the battery sits.  Remounted the battery and the Radiator overflow bottle.  Mounted the battery on my heat shield.  Got my pod filter sitting exactly where Noss's sits.  4 1/2 in flex pipe.  From the pod bolted straight to the Pod MAF adaptor.  So i got a heat shield protecting the CAI area as well and the piping, so its stayin super cold.

I thought i wud be a bit biased.  But shit guys, i have fully noticed a big difference.  Like maybe 2-3kw.  2nd gear onwards pulls a but harder.  Really noticeable all thru 3rd.

Its like power is a little better, but throttle response is the most noticeable.

There are no gaps anywhere for air to get in other than from the pod cuz i sealed it hella good!

Thats all i had to say, i'll get the camera on wednesday
