As of next week my Trx will have only one door lock thingamajiggy... yup, the one that got screwed with(excuse the pun) is gonna get blocked off with a piece of sheet metal that will be spotwelded on n then covered up with a bit of bog to conceal the existing hole...

Im excited as big kev would say, really lookin foward to seeing the finished article... ur input would help too.. maybe gimme the inspiration to do the drivers side too

I don't quite understand - do you mean you're removing the lock cylinder from the passenger side and covering the hole so maike it look like there was never a keyhole there?

If I had my central locking in I'd be tempted to do this... may do it later on when I have a bit more money to make sure it gets painted over properly... thinking about doing the car *drumrolls* pink! :P anyway. :) But a nice, dark pink. Not hot pink. Hmm, there's a photochop for you guys! :)

I'm getting an S13 flip up lid & lock put on for my boot lock very soon.  There is a bit of panel beating involved to make the eria around the lock flatter so that the silvia lock will fit on properly.  Then u need to apply some paint after.

im doing the same (drivers door and boot lock) because when i changed the bodywork on my car the locks got changed over to. im also getting the ariel filled in to

remote cetral locking is how you unlock it. then if you shave your door handles you can get in by installing a sepcially made device made to "pop" the doors open. however in australia, it is illegal to have shaved door handles. apparently it can be engineered but its an expensive process to go thru.
