r32 Gtr rear spoiler
« on: Oct 25, 2003, 12:59PM »
Hi there guys,

I really thinking of putting a GTR spoiler like Dave's TRX. I think it looks awesome. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

daves? hrmm.. poor old dave smashed his trx.. are you talking about the one on the front page on the white trx? or are you talking the bomex r32 gtr wing on sir_trx's car?

i reckon they look good. need a few new holes in the bootlid, but they look good.

Yes the white feature car aka "nismo". Holes are not a problem as i dont plan on taking it off once its done.

So do u know where i can source one???

try japanese wreckers or original nissan items.. they're usually fairly pricey though. have a look at places like sydney special vehicles (www.ssv.com.au) and carmate (www.carmate.com.au) for replica items. expect to pay around the $400 mark whichever way you go.

I was browsing the net and some guy in New Zealand had the same kit, off the top of my head I think it was called GTR N1 spoiler. I contacted japanese motorsport in adelaide and they only had the bootlid lip spoiler in stock (which I also want), which cost $125.

Thats the bootlid lip spoiler

And thats what im hoping to achieve on my trx.

What do u guys think???

Who the hell is selling that for $800, I seen one for  $350.  U can also get a Nismo R32 400r full front bar for only $650, No way a wing cost $800.  I now a Lancer Evo spoiler cost that much but not that GTR wing.

the reason the $800 one is so expensive is because the people are greedy and its a genuine nissan one, not a replica.. and of course, most people dont give a rats if its genuine or not, so they only spend $400 for a new replica one

no it doesnt, but i'm sure you could make it fit with a lot of work. i have an r32 bumper at home for my trx which i'm not going to use, the r32 is slightly wider and the front bumper curves around more.

i still have it. its out the back of my house in the rear carpark. if i dont get rid of it by the time i leave, its staying there :P

aussie_gli was going to buy it for $20 from me but he never showed up. not that i really care. i bought it so long ago it doesnt matter anymore. if someone wants it they can have it for free. local pick up only. but yeh.
