To keep or to scrap?
« on: Feb 2, 2005, 10:25PM »
Hey everyone,

I just recently completed meshing my front bar and I was just wondering what you guys thought of it. I also added a trx logo which I made to connect the 2 pieces of mesh. All opinions are welcome, positive or negative. Thanx ;D

Dave

Here are some pics of it

I reckon it looks nice, something unique and simple, not over the top.
its those little touches that makes things look nice, whether its something seen in plain view or if its not, attention to details is what makes things good

Now that u mastered it on your car u can do mine :P

I made the logo with a piece of tin. It took me ages to do though and it was a real bitch trying to cut out a shape like that with tin snips. The mesh cost me $17 for a piece 400mm x 280mm

Budgie he just has the genuine nissan foglight covers on them. I had a pair of them but they are a bitch to take off and put on with the front bar still on.

That actually looks REALLY GOOD. Your front end looks extremely neat atm.

I have grille mesh in through the winter but when it warms up in summer my radiator doesn't like the grille mesh much and my car tends to get a little warm. So I just take it out.

And some of those super-white lightbulbs. They're the ones that autobarn sell that have a light blue tinge to the bulb. Then it'd look really shmick.

Those bulbs are eugh. Cheap HID or whatever they are ripoffs.

Get real ones. Theres kits I think to do it. Expensive, but can be well worth it.

I do actually have some of those in there and the blue tinge usually stands out but for some reason it hasnt in that photo. If u have a good look you can actually see the blue in the headlight
