What hose is this?

Guys need to know what hose that is and what it does? I thought it may have been a coolant hose but now i dont think it is.

Is it a breather hose that is routed through the intake?

Is it safe to drive the car without that hose?

Any help is much appreciated.

If you need a photo of where the hose attaches to let me know and i can go and take one.

that goes to the intake right ?

i THINK it's the pcv or something...

Yeah goes to the intake from what looks like just below the water temp gauge sender, but not to the water housing but just below it.

ill go look at my engine in 2 seconds, i'll see what i can see off the intake manifold,

i was thinking of the wrong line, it goes to a resevoir type of thing, im pretty sure u need it otherwise ur coolant will just splatter out onto the floor (it circulates around the plenum or either comes out that screw you take out which spits out coolant when you flush and refill it)

Thats the one. So it connects the pcv to the intake manifold. I can ask nissan for the right hose now :P
