I would love some feedback on this topic.
I have just had some suspension work on my u13 attesa.
I fitted 17inch wheels today but am not very happy with the general look.
In my opinion although the car has been lowered it looks too high for me.
The handling now is superb but looks does come into it.
If you look at the whiteline kit they mention height to be as follows.
front 355mm
back 345mm
Now this is measured from centre of wheel to top of guard.
This is the maximum they would go due to front strut set up and to also allow for good suspension travel.
My car measures
front 365mm
back 360mm
With the 17 inch wheels there seems to be too much of a gap between wheel and arch.
I would be very interested to know what you guys out there can measure on your u13 attesa's.
If you get a spare few minutes place car on level ground and measure from centre of wheel to guard.
I would be most intersted in the cars that have also had some suspension work.
I need something other than whiteline specs to compare to.
Maybe we can find out who has the lowest attesa out there.
I have no idea what the standard measurement is but I would suggest its even higher than mine.

let the suspension settle a little, it will take maybe a week for it to sit in the postion its meant too. then if it still sits a bit high go back and see what your suspension guru says
-
Hey Phreeky,
I probably wont get anymore than 5 or 10mm of settle from these springs.
I will be taking the car back later this week to see what can be done.
See what happens.
Buy the way, were you the guy who was getting his car dynoed recently with some other
bluebird owners.
How did you go and were you happy with results.

Sorry,
The above reply was meant for Just Got Craazier.
Maybe I am the one who just Got Crazy.
-
yeah that was me, i was there with budgie, that was yesterday at hyper tech, were you close to there??
-
No,
I was just interested in your results.
I think you invited me to come as well but I couldnt make it.
Once I get my suspension sorted out I will invest in another dyno myself.
Probably wont be until early next year now.
Were your results as good as you hoped.
Were the ambient temperatures o.k for a good power run.
-
results were less than the dyno day results, which it should not have been, but my car was last on so the ambient temps in the dyno cell were higher, my guess above 25 degrees and very humid so not a good time to dyno but my timing was out by 5 degrees aswell so loss of power there, not good......
but yeah will be going again when the chip is in, hopefully soon
