hey guys i got a bit bored waiting for my girlfriend to come by so i painted & fitted my sss grille.. its nothing overly special, but i thought i'd show u.. here is a photo.

Hey, that looks alright.... mabye the meshy bit would look even better silver/chrome???

What colour is your bonnett???? It looks orange!!!

I really like that mate. what that set you back?

and the girlfriend thing, i had a girl like that but we are talking at most half an hour late, not enough time to paint and fit a grill... :D ought to be bringing out that whip and chain set all us males receive when we are born for occasions like that mate. get her in line champ  8)  ;D

bonnet is red. it was just bad lighting.. the sun was shining into the lense kinda thing.. doesnt help that the car hasnt been washed.

ah its cool about the girlfriend thing.. i dont mind she is late.. she was only ever on time once.. she has been anywhere up to 3 hours late

i just put a sss grill on my car it cost me $60 im gonna get a friend to repray it to the right color but it still looks good cos its kina a shadow sort of chrome(http://my documents\grill.jpg)

when asking around wreckers for the grille what do u ask for?

u12 sss bluebird. you'd have to ask at import wreckers. doubt you'd find one at a normal wreckers

the wreckers that i grabbed mine from ( A1 nissan Wreckers at coopers plains in bris for those playing at home  :P )  they had about 10 when i went in, the had $80 but i knocked him down to $65

How long ago was that?  I might see if they can send me one if I can't find one in Melbourne or Sydney (I'm not wasting my time looking down here)

Hmmm I wouldn't mind putting on an SSS grill and debadging the corsair .. would just have to get some pinnie headlights. Best of both worlds :P

I just think the pintara front end looks much better, with the bigger cornering lights, more open-styled grill and square headlights.

i just picked up this nice chromey sss grill for $55

was going to put it on my Gli to sell it. but i like the look of it too much so i might try put it on my corsair

looked into it. too much work. would have to replace the entire front end with a pintara one. without custom work ($$$) you'd need 2xfront fenders, 2xheadlights, 2xcornering lights and a filler panel. not worth it imo.

cutting off a few cm from the filler panel is hardly anything i'd be overly concerned about. it'd be a piece of piss.

id give it a go if i had the spare cash laying round to buy one of these grilles.
you would only need the grille n the filler panel n cuttin the filler panel wouldnt b much work at all

yestey i noticed a trx driving round wif no front grille

got me thinking that he might be doin the sss grille.
but then again he isnt a member of antrx so i dnt know where he'd get the idea for it.
unless he jus comes here n reads forums for idea,
might have to get some of those fliers n stick under his wipers n door handles  ???

i would like to see if he does though, ill check it out in the flesh
