Hey all;
I've been reading on other posts and such about wheel widths & seems to be 15x8's will fit with the right offset. The rims I'm looking at are 15x8 (+38). Are they gonna fit?
Cheers for the help ;D

I know the offset will fit, but I'm not sure about the 8" wide tyres. I'm running 17x7s (+38) and they slightly scrub on full lock.
-
what tyre siz would 15x8 be??

Ohh, I made the mistake, for an offset of 38, it has to be an 15x7 wheel. Slight scrub is fine ;D
Thanks

I haven't looked into it in too much depth, but these rims are only going to be 7" so they shouldnt be hard to find. (I read somewhere that a fella is running 195/45's but thats a bit of stretch :P )
-
Yeah no probs with 7" there. I think with 15" you need a bit of rubber under there I'd go for 205 at least.
-
True, thanks for the advice :)
If thats the least what would be a pretty safe wheel size ???
Doesnt matter if there not stretched, prefer to not buy tyres every 6 months :P
-
i run 205/45/17 and they scrub only on one corner other than that they are good.
-
oh okay, i might go 205/(50 or 55)/15 :)
-
i have some 16 7 +38 rims atm and with the 1/4 i have been making they fit
so far the right one was a breze but the left front was munted, rears arent too bad but there are some dents that requite removal before i mould them ;D
-
what do you mean by 1/4? & munted?
-
by 1/4 i mean quarter panel and by munted i mean seriously screwed up 'cause it seems there was a kafuffle with an ex
-
Aw okay, hope it works out man
-
well i sold the 16x7s and bought some 16x6s cause i have had an epiphinay! i am throwing out the clean looking street car and going for a missile approach now, btw anyone know of some program that i can see the rims that are going on before i buy them (not photoshop)
