my prob is the wiper pivots are shagged out so the wiper arm hits the windscreen trim & just bounces around ~reeely f'king annoying!!!~
anyone worked out if any other model pivots fit ours? i tried r31 pivots but the pivot ball is way smaller on the 31 pivot

i know this thread has a few cobwebs on it but worth the dig. i had the same problem before xmas, and seems a few others may have also as all the U12/UA wrecks i came across had the wipers missing. i found the best solution was one from an S13. although you will need the entire assembly even arms as they are 14mm bolts. you will have to re-drill the blot holes a bout 5mm L&R, and may need to grind the bolts off. the arms are also alloy. i have also ordered one from nissan as the one i found has a hairline crack for $80. they are the best substitute and parts are still available from japan.

Did you have a look at any maxima wipers?

ya had a look at those , they seemed alot diferent. the u13 looked closer, but couldnt get a desent look as itr was on top and had a damaged bonnet. couldnt see the pivot.
