Title: HELP!!!!!!!!!
Post by: Frosty on Sep 4, 2008, 11:47PM
Hey guys im havin huge problems wit my u12 atm, wen the car is on it revs as if it is in training mode, it idles at around 500-700 and sounds like its gonna stall, wen i put my foot down there is no pull at all and i cant rev past 4500 or it starts jerking and popping and blows smoke(wont actually go past 5000 at all), its chewing way to much fuel and is impossible to drive. so far I’ve swapped over the distributor, the throttle body sensor and checked all vacuum hoses, I don’t think its the air flow meter because there is no ecm light, seriously guys any help is greatly appreciated

sounds similar to my U13s problems.
i replaced afm, air intake, distributor, spark plugs, leads, fuel pump, ecu...
Nothing has fixed it, but mines still driveable.
Does rip through the fuel though.

Oooo! And I replaced the ignition coil.

My guess is its a ca20 and the intake coil is stuffed so its only firing exhaust side up to 4k rpm
