Ok, i made this thread as a general thread to first of all set me up with a list of parts to obtain for my manual conversion, but also for others to look at for future reference when converting (as alot of us do convert).
Apart from the obvious clutch, gearbox etc. What parts would i need? (Im directing this question at Jason, Budgie, UA_booster and anyone else who has converted from auto to manual).
List:
-Clutch
-Gearbox
-Clutch Master Cylinder and assosciated piping
-Manual Flywheel
-Shifter
-Shifter Linkages
-Clutch Pedal
-Shifter Boot
-Brake Pedal
-Flywheel Bolts
-Spigot Bearing
-Slave Cylinder
-Gearbox Mount
-Manual Computer if your picky...
Will update it as it goes along until we have a complete list.
Cheers guys

I gearstick I think might be useful Billy boy. Don't forget all of the console crap (surround etc).

Auto one is very similar, would probably suffice.

You need the brake pedal aswell, flywheel bolts (different to flex plate bolts), spigot bearing, slave cylinder, gearbox mount, and idealy a manual computer.
-
Computers in the U12s will be fine. I was running an auto computer in my manual car when mine died with no problems whatsoever.
-
You need the brake pedal aswell
nah just need the rubber pad. you can make the auto one into a manual brake pedal using an angle grinder. trust me you will want to after installing the clutch pedal ..much swear word persuasion is required

Yeah tell me about it, not a nice job at all. Aslong as you dont set the carpet on fire when your cutting the pedal. I still recomend changing it, but either way.

I also cut my brake pedal, used a very sharp hack-saw tho, not an angle grinder... then put a clutch pedal pad over it. Been fine since.
-
You guys are all sooks. I changed my brake pedal when i did the manual swap into my trx.

+1 for cutting the brake pedal down and fitting a manual rubber boot. use a sabre saw and no sparks burny carpet.
also, keep the auto computer, it has more torque in the midrange. You just bypass the inhibitor relay in the fuse box in the front driver side corner.
