I was considering getting a TB spacer for my 92 stanza; has anyone done this? I would like to hear some thoughts and if there's noticable improvement... and do you need to have a cold air intake before getting a throttle body spacer? Thanks for the help.

lol is this those vortex generating ones?
My mate bought one for his jeep and it actually works, I was so surprised.
I don't know about the cheap shit though.

I think he's talking about thermal spacers chris.

Not really worth it. The spacer isn't going to work on a U12 since there is a coolant feed that runs through the TB, just bypass this. It's quite easy to do.
The problem is that the hot coolant exiting the head flows out through the lower intake manifold, and progressively heats it. So by fitting a TB spacer, you are only effectively isolating the TB from heat, which is quite a small surface area in comparison to the lower intake manifold.

would it be worth bypassing this??
