Title: Question...front lower rear bushes
Post by: SleepaTi on Mar 27, 2008, 11:47PM
mine are squeaking (after lowering) & giving me the shits!
should i go for the stock units or the ones listed below?

Nissan Pintara series U12 Front Control Arm Lower - Rear bush - LH increase/RH increase caster (large "D" style bush) A2942U

did you use copious amounts of the grease that came with them?
If not, pull the bushes out and use HEAPS.

I did with my rear LCA urethane bushes, not one squeak since i put them in.

the original bushes are squeaking..so looking at getting new ones hence the question to get the offset ones or just the stock ones :P

More caster will give the car more stability, and the steering will come back to centre more easily, but the steering will be a bit heavier.

Your call.

my steering is pretty freakishly light even with 215/17's

it'll be even better again once i put the reco rack in with new ball joints & tie rod ends

So if i packed the front bush shaft with some washers would that be better or worse??
