Title: can you fix a hole in your head
Post by: trx_reece on Dec 10, 2006, 07:46PM
ive wanted to buy a wreck with a deacent engine so i can swap it over to my trx. the one i was going to get has a hole in the head. i was wondering if i could just swap the head over with a new one. will that fix the problem and will the engine run after doing that. ???

Yeah not to purposely be off topic, but i have to say when i read "in Maintenance Issues" i immediately thought no way, wrong section (jokes and humour) fix a whole in your head haha

yeah best to steer clear

something big had to go wrong to put a hole in the head, you wouldn't be able to trust it after that

the holes appeared when he took off the exhaust manifold... there were 4 of them.  ::)

(Sorry couldnt resist)

maybe read a few books, might help fill up the hole... otherwise i suppose the other guys here have helped out enough.
