Depends on what happens with Europe. We saw the AUD drop as people clambered to move to a 'safe currency' (USD). The AUD has done so well because our economy has done relatively well compared to the rest of the world. Overseas investors were buying aus dollars because our interest rates are comparatively high (especially compared the japan and the US) known as the carry trade.

The way our dollar goes will depend on what happens to Europe and how well our economy continues to perform. As Col said if the douchebag Tin-tin look-a-like gets the mining tax through it will have an effect on the dollar. Trying to work out where currency rates are going is notoriously difficult (if it was easy we'd all be rich). I personally can see it going up when things clear up but I doubt it'll get the highs we've seen before the crisis anytime soon. The way exchange rates go you might be best taking noss' approach haha.
