How to rejuvenate indicator and wiper stalks?
« on: Feb 24, 2009, 11:32PM »
hope this is in the right place... ;D

anyway, both stalks have gone all chalky and white looking, is it possible to renew them somehow? or do i just source some replacements?

if i replace them, roughly what are new/2nd hand ones worth? i dont really wanna replace them, cos they work mint as.

amourall doesnt work for more then a few hours.

I took mine off, and carefully with my finger nails and a toothpick, scratched all the white crap off and then amourall'd them heavily.

Try a silicone lubricant. CRC808 spray or bumper bar shine spray or something like that.

If you get enough protectant shit into them they should stop chalking up.
