Low fuel warning light not coming on
« on: Feb 13, 2007, 04:10PM »
I have a Pintara T 2.4L Wagon and the low fuel light does not come on. I know the globe is ok because at start up it lights up. What should I be looking at to fix it?

I have this same problem. I suspect its the little low fuel sender attached to the fuel pump assembly. To check it look under your back seat and find the fuel pump loom. Strip the black wire back and ground it and see if your fuel light comes on, if so that narrows the problem down to the sender.
