I have only been in two nissan engined cars....and the best one of both of those was the vg30dett....so veeery smooth.

just for the sake of being boring, i'd say the ka24e turbo :P but only cause thats what i'll be running ;)

but out of all seriousness, i'd have to say the fj24.. as found in the 1982 nissan 240RS

engine: FJ24 2340cc DOHC 16 valve four cylinder
power: 177kw @ 7200rpm
torque: 235Nm @ 6000rpm
compression ratio: 11.0:1

i think the VRH35L was the fastest Engine nissan produced. I remember reading that somewhere. i have the figures on the stock setup for it.

Power : 417.6 kw / 560 bhp @ 6800 rpm    
Torque : 637.23 nm / 470 ft lbs @ 4400 rpm    
Bhp / Liter : 160.23 bhp per litre

although the N1 rb26dett out of the r34 gtr Nur
Power   208.8 kw / 280.0 bhp @ 6800 rpm    
Torque   392 nm / 289.1 ft lbs @ 4400 rpm    
Bore   86 mm / 3.39 in

but this engine had to be downtuned to 280bhp to be legal to sell in japan. With alittle tuning it could exceed 480bhp. Pitty only 1000 of the GTR Nurs were ever released.

Mine would be the RB30E, had a Skyline Silhouette and just felt that it was a sweet, sweet engine.

What in heck did the VRH35L get shoehorned into?

350Z motor. whatever it is, VQ35 or something? i love high powered great sounding V6's.

for a turbo engine i would go SR20, simply because thats whats in the U13 attessa  ;)

Browny, there are 2 variations...

1. GRX-3
2. GRX-3 KAI

GRX-3 KAI = DOHC 12 cylinder, twin cam, 48 valve V12, MFI, dry sump rated at 660hp used in the Nissan R383.

This is a R383:

ahh i c. hmm well thats faster the then VRH35L........ so on more internet searching i found more specific info. the VRH35L is the fastest PRODUCTION engine made by nissan.

that sounds fair tough. look at the dish on the rear wheels!!!!

Just to be really moddest and not going for something that is ridiculously high powreed. 

I'm going to say that my mate's datto 1600 with a L20B in it fuckin hooks. 

he's got 158hp @ wheels.  Its heavily worked.  Its the nicest torquiest 4 banger motor that has the best induction note i've ever heard!
