Few Solid lifter Q'ss

Hi all, I have a set of o &j solid lifters in my pintara and was wondering A: are they noisy as hell? at high rpm it sreams B: what valve clearances has anyone else ran? im running .25mm adjusting when hot

Whats that adjustment when cold? I'm not sure what the expansion coefficients are for that material but some performance cams prefer 0.2mm when cold.

How noisey are we speaking? I don't think it's normal that you should be able to hear them. Set them up a little tighter and see how you go

I run 5 thou cold on my intakes, and 7 thou cold on the exhaust.

You can't really compare though since my current ones are different adjuster screws.

0.25 is too much though mate.
