Metallic Green TRX
« on: Oct 29, 2002, 11:59PM »
Yep, I saw a metallic green TRX out my way (Doncaster). Definitely dark green... not blue or grey, etc. If it was a respray, it was a bloody good job.

I can't begin to imagine a burgundy TRX  :-/  I know there are a few GLi's running around here which are burgundy.

I don't know if you guyz will know what colour i'm talkin about.  but if any of you have seen that mint green colour on the new magnas?  i saw a TRX up past Newcastle in that colour.  It looked unreal.. it looked like he had a silver pearl through it as well.  really really nice looking car.  i'll go looking for it some weekend and take sum pictures  ;D

evenflow... if your after a colour change, expect to pay from $4000 upwards depending on what you want. for a respray in the same colour, expect to pay around $3000. dont go for the $800 respray jobs, they're crap & you'd be better leaving your car as is.

if you like, i can get some quotes off a friend for a respray for you. he gave me a good quote but that is if i help him with all the preparation including removing the engine, sanding the body down a bit & repairing the hail damage etc..

Seen a similiar colour on a mustang very nice indeed.

I need to choose a colour for my project car, that green may be on the list.

haha,
geeez people, i know the colour crazynizgirl is talking about, hehe  ;). Mint green is a good word to describe it. Light light green. I think it may have been on the last model Magna's, not the brand new ones. There isnt many around, nonetheless.

I actually CAN picture the colour she is talking about as I have seen the magna solara in mint green - I have also seen a pink [yes pink] one! IMO a visual is much more explanatory than text... :o

Text can often be useless, [co]incidently mitsubishis' current ad campaign for the magna - "A picture speaks 1000 words" ;D

Hey!  Stop bagging the Magna.  My Magna rocks.  (It's getting sold soon though).

......and no Ryan, it's not a pink Nutrimetics Magna. ;)

I didn't bag it.  I absolutely love the Solara, especially if it's a manual, and in my mint colour! :P
