defaults pintara TRX
« on: May 10, 2004, 02:13PM »
i just wanted to know what to main defaults that the pintara TRX has

One of my dad friends, told him that the TRX was a shit car, and it going to cause me problems, so my dad advised me to sell it, of course i told them were to go, but it got me thinking, what the main defaults were. i've had a TRX for about 2 years, in that 2 year, i had to change the  exhausts, wheel bearing and my thermostat.... now i have something wrong with my steering....

just wanted to know what you guys thought and what problems you guys had...

yeh, but really, its just general wear and tear items. there arent any major defects or faults or whatever with the trx that i know of, but there are the usual wear and tear items which are similar on all the pintaras. its a case of how you treat your car as to what will go wrong.

You're dads mate must then think that the 3.8L Buick V6 in the muzzadore is the best engine ever made by the sounds of it  ::)
Glad to hear you didn't listen to him.

no matter what car you own something will go wrong with it & it's usually when you can't afford it. :o

true... I've heard the manual can go through clutches quite quickly if you're not easy on them.

Also the timing chain will eventually cause problems if it isn't attended to. Otherwise everything is just wear and tear, as noss said.

You want "defaults", buy a Commodore or a Falcon.
