Gremlins in the electronics...no start!
« on: May 3, 2012, 04:57PM »
i went to start the car this arvo after installing the new rear strut brace, when no start. everything happens as it should , but no go. full power in the battery and the starter motor is fine as i have run a wire from it to the battery and i can actually start it. it just wont start with the key seems the signal isnt getting to the starter.  ???

i have hooked up datascan and it says the timing is at 5 deg before it starts. going nutz :D

checked fuses barrel etc nothing there, started it up with the wire, got up to pure sinserity and dropped off braces, then no start at all. so it did turn out to be the starter. i will rip it out tomorrow..
