Hey Guys,

Ive been registered as a member here for a while but I havent posted, so I thought I'd start out by introducing myself. I hope I have put this in the right spot. My name is Luke, I live about 100K's north of Adelaide in a little town called Balaklava. I am almost 19 and I own 2 Nissans. My first car I have owned for three years was my first car, a 1984 series 2 Bluebird TRX. My second car I have had for around 6 months, a 1991 U13 SSS Atessa, which I had to fly to Sydney to get :o . Details on my cars are in my sgnature :) . Here are some pictures of my cars.

I have galleries of my cars here:

Welcome mate!

Love the 910 and love the ever kickass bluebird ATTESA ;)

Hughs SR20DET HNU12 bluebird (the same shape as the aussie cars) ran a 13.8 at calder with a 3" exhaust and on 10psi (the U12 weighs about 100kg less than the U13)  You will be able to get a better quarter time than that easily ;)

But yeah, welcome to antrx.  How much did you pay for your U13?

I payed $10,000 Flat for the car, which I was very happy with, but then I had to get it back to SA and re register it and all that so by the time I had in home in my yard it was around 11 grand or so, still cheap in my opinion. We flew to Sydney from Adelaide and drove back home in just over 30 hours, a good weekend out :) . It is probly one of the very first ones made, Its production date is 09/91, the first month they were produced.

$10k is very good for a U13 ATTESA, especially manual!

I wasn't game to fly from melb to perth, then drive my car back ;)  Had it shipped on a truck instead.

Around that time, mid 1991 is when the U12's and U13's pretty much 'overlapped'.  Luckily nissan figured out TMIC's were shit and fitted front mounts to the U13's instead!

I will consider the cruise man, its a bit late though, I have work on monday morning and I dont like staying up late before work, also I have a month until Im off my P's, so I am on my best behaviour and I tend to do silly things with groups of people. But I will definately think about it, and if I dont go, I will be at the next one, as long as it is after the 16th of July, I'll have my full licence by then, fingers crossed.

welcome aboard there Luke,

nice to see a very clean example of a SR20DET bluebird, looks shmick with the white rims, and very soon you'll watch the quarter times drop in your car, with some mild mucking around they hammer.

on ya again

hugh

Thanks guys,

I had a big decision about the white rims, I didnt know if white would suit a black car, but I am very happy with how it turned out. Except for the fact that the tyres on the rims are too small, I ordered them from Tempe Tyres in NSW and had them frieghted over, when they got here the crate was smashed (not the fault of the transport company just some shity crate they must have had lying around), and the tyres were 40 instead of the 45 profile i ordered. Once these tyres wear out I will get 45's. Not happy with Tempe Tyres, they dont listen, weve had problems with them before, we had to send a set of mags back cos the didnt fit the car they were ordered for. Any who , its all ok now the mags are on and it looks cool.

With my quarter times, I know I can get a lot quicker, If anyone can remember this years 4, 6 and rotary nationals, it was a stinkin hot day. I reckon I can easy get it into the mid 13's over winter, and hopefully get a better reaction time.

Im rather impressed with the condition of your bluebird, i could be wrong about yours........but i havn't seen one for a while that has straight matching pannels. :o ;D

Hope you make cruise appearances & can be an inspiration to those who live much closer and cant be bothered................... you know who you are!! Just kiddin, im just stabbin in the dark :D

But yeah... welcome and stuff! ;D
