nizu12, unless your car has been converted to CA18DET or SR20DET your DREAMING when thinking you'll get anywhere near 7k for it!

mate, there was/is a trx in excellent condition on autotrader (i think) which had a custom turbo setup and all the other bits and pieces, that was going for 5k!!

so unless this trx your interested in is even better, then thats a rip off itself and i wouldnt consider it if i was you.

you simply wont be able to sell yours for anything close

7.5k is a lot for a trx! (unless as stated it's turbo'd etc.) - I paid $700 LESS for my u13 attesa!

A TRX in immaculate low-km nick should be about 3k-4k now days.

Do not buy a TRX for 7.5 unless its got some serious power!!

if anyone is actually interested, it is on the trading post with pics if you want to look at it. By the way, there are a few tr-x and pintara on trading post (with higher kms than mine and the one I want to buy) going from $4990-$5990 in stock condition, so an extra $2500 is'nt that much more when the car has had close to $16000 spent on it. Also on the trading post, there is some moron trying to sell a nissan pintara for $33,000, try get your head around that one

but if you really have put 16k

into it, why not just keep it instead of getting a trx? even if it is a bit ricey, you seem to have a half decent car...

for the record I sold my 1991 exec. auto pinnie in excellent condition with a 60,000k km old rebuilt engine for $2,000 and I'm happy I got that much!

I think it's important for you to know that cars are money pits, I struggle to see how you've spent 16,000 on it, but still you're never going to get that 16k back, maybe a tiny bit if it were spent on tasteful modifications.

Having said that, Got any pics to post up?

.......I might have a friend who's interested and wants to have a look (who in no way wants to make a mockery of said pictures.)
