instrument cluster---- Urgent
« on: Aug 6, 2013, 06:22PM »
hi guys, need some help please, this has got me and my mechanic stuck...
change all the temp sensor on motor ( ka24e 90 pin t 2.4ltr)
engine isn't over heating, new thermo, and housing, flush and change coolant,
temp gauge inside car still being a bitch and peaking above high, well past it..
change instrument cluster, check wiring to it, getting power.
and now the temp gauge doesn't moved, stays below c on gauge....
any ideals cos really don't have the cash to get a auto tech to go all over the wiring if i can help it?

maybe time to study the lovely bible that i downloaded from antrx,
thanks Roy

I have issues with my cluster a bunch too, most of them stay at the bottom and done move, but I have discovered that if I hit the transparent cover hard enough they pop up and work as usual, I think they are just sticky, but I have no idea how to get to them and clean it.
