Hi there everyone, sadly. This car that has body damage. THIS CAR IS A MANUAL RECO GEARBOX AND ALL NEW RUBBERS AND MOUNTS
It's a Nissan Pintara TI superhatch
But aside from that I spent over two thousand dollars on new and performance parts.
A list of these parts include
- new shocks and springs all four wheels
- new heavy duty clutch
- new brakes
- 3 new wheels, third had wall damage and currently has spare on with original MAG in boot
- K&N commodore air filter
- brand new four injectors $800
- new fuel and oil filter
- new head, rocker cover and tappets
- all new gaskets, rocker, rear main, etc
- new water and coolant temperature sensor
- all four new engine mounts
- new gearbox rubbers, mounts, links and rebuilt
Performance
-Stage 3 antrx.com chip, no rev limiter remove, removes flat spot at 2.500, increases fuel mileage, made engine very smooth and responsive.
- performance extractors, with 2 1⁄4 cat back exhaust with bigger resonator and sports muffler with chrome tip, makes a very nice note.
There is a lot more I could add but you get the idea, a rough car on outside, yet mechanically sound.
I have all original receipts all parts bought from supercheap and fitted by a private mechanic in December.
The bad
- sunroof leaks intermittently needs a huge service.
- distance speedometer doesn't work and neither does trip meter. oil, battery, coolant temp, speed, rev all work fine.
- Body has seen better days as was first car for a p plater.
- dash around radio is broken in places all buttons and everything works.
- rear seats have oil Stains from previous owner
- engine has a cracked head due to driving with no coolant ( a mistake from me as I thought the temp gauge was acting up, but there was actually no coolant. 40m along Western highway at 110 has seriously hurt it. The car does crank, it does turn on and run. Quite well, it can still move very fast, but it guzzles coolant which then shoots out the exhaust, if radiator cap is on and full of water the engine siezes.
The story, okay so I bought this car when I got my licence for very cheap was a little rough on outside and inside but I figured be smart I will be either hitting someone or be hit by someone. So a car that looks bad that needs some work was bought.
I then enlisted a mechanic to go all over the car and fix everything for reliability and Rwc, this has been my diary driver since December but something made it leak coolant, pretty sure the head gasket had a small leak as it was the only gasket we didn't replace.
So the car looks sort of crappy but has a heart of gold.
A new engine from a wrecker is $275 drop it in this car will purrrr
Has upgraded exhaust, computer chip that was professionaly fitted with a socket and I also have original chip if something goes wrong. It's very fast, very smooth and economically is great if you drive normally.
Sadly, the engine blew and now that I feel confident enough I bought a really nice new car.
If you love the old pintaras buy this car for either parts as all parts under body are brand new, or buy as a fix up. Or as a very crazy paddock basher.
If it doesn't sell I am scrapping it to wreckers, I don't want to Loose almost over three grands worth of parts to a wrecker I would rather have it used by someone, but I don't care much about price as I hate wasting things.
Make me an offer and take it away. It is located in Roxburgh Park.
Grab this bargain for brand new parts or it will go to a metal smelter.

$500 is pretty much exactly what I want.

Get in contact with me if you are thinking of scrapping it. It would be sad to see all those parts go to waste. I'd be considering picking it up now if it was manual.

it is a manual? recon gearbox all new mounts and rubbers.

I bought this car.
I now have 3 ECU's in 2 cars, Stock, Stage 2 and Stage 3.
Contact Noss and he can hook you up, or I'll end up selling one of the chipped ecu's eventually.

I might be interested in the stage 2 or stage 3 chip... depends on what would be the best chip for a non-modified KA24E.
How much? and how difficult to install?
