Alarm Install, Few Questions
« on: Aug 26, 2004, 06:27PM »
Hi Im installing a rhino alarm in my r31 88 Pintara, in my instruction manual i am told to connect the red lead (power) to constant 12v via the fuse box at the point where the interior light circuit is powered. Is there a simple way to take the fuse box out so i can make this connection, i cannot find anywhere in my gregorys with this. Is there an easier point to connect at or an easy way to take out the box? I also have to connect my brown lead (ignition input) to the ignition wire, is the ignition wire in a pintara same as a usual car, brown? Once i am able to tackle these problems i should be fine from there on thanks everyone in advance - volatile

*cough antrx noise section may help you more

best bet rock on down and pick up a gregorys manual, but just, but as for ignition ct the wire open at the key slot thats what my alarm had done and it was a professional install, also the red would be able to be hooked to the constant side of the ignition not the switched side :)
