TRX springs and shocks to Ti conversion?
« on: Jul 11, 2006, 11:27AM »
hey all,

there is a Red Manual 150,000km TRX at my local wreckers and I am wondering if the TRX springs/shocks are lower than a standard Ti.... The suspension on my Ti is so soggy that all my tyres are getting uneven wear, the rear ones are completely bald on the inside, the front arent as bad but i still slide around in the wet....

i want to get the suspension off the 1992 TRX and bolt it up to my Ti, Is it a good idea? the are blue and say 'MONROE' on em , they look in pretty good nick too! the sway bar on the front look pretty thick so i was thinkin of getting that too,

Is there anything else worth salvaging off the TRX that would be good on my Ti???

thanks guys.....

Don't bother. If you want a lower Ti, king springs in low or superlows. Get some new shocks, i wouldn't put secondhand stuff like monroe back on a car.
If the swaybars are larger than your stock items and the price is right, by all means grab them.
