Engine mount
« on: Jan 15, 2007, 05:30PM »
Well so i have noticed while car went for a road worthy my front drivers side engine mount is gone.
Nissan is selling them for just under 300 and takes 4 weeks from japan currently.
Repco doesn't list the car/engine.

So has anyone had to change there front mount on there attesa.

If so where did you source it from?
have you still got part codes etc?

LH gearbox mount - 11220-0e610 - $209

I'm sure someone with FAST or whatever can tell you your part number, ( it doesn't run in x64 :( )
My one was a bitch to do, just did it yesterday.
Not sure how hard your one will be though.
Only took a couple weeks from japan, through Nissan.
Wanneroo (Barbagallos) short track time 63 seconds (58 - Evo) long track 79 (69 - Evo)
Mods - Bosch 910 fuel pump, Nismo 555cc injectors, Z32 AFM, USB Bikirom, Full Whiteline Handling Kit, DBA Rotors, Tomei Poncams + GT2871. (174ahkw)

why not solid fill the mounts?. $200+ for one mount is pretty damn steep...

Thanks for the help guys.
Problem solved.

Pressed out centre from new one that had similar dimensions. Then put the new one in the original mount.

If this ever happens to anyone

PArt number for the engine mount with similar centre
is a Kelpro Engine Mount
Part Number: MT 8582.

Just take it to a engineering place etc. They shouldn't have any troubles.
