Looks alright, only downside is you can't see what gear it's in now :P

What's the thingy beside the shifter?

Also What is that thing. Looks like a phone holder without the cradle/arms bit.

How long did it take to make, what materials were used, what modifications were needed to the stock selector and what about the over drive button on the side of your gear selector.

yeh the thing next to it is just a magnet i used to put my remote for my cd player on it...but realised that the magnet drained the batteries like a biarch

prety much just used a piece of rubbery material n cut it to shape and it ties up at the back with a bit of string, and the actual gearnob a mate picked up for me from supercheap auto....i dont have a overdrive button so yeah doesnt really matter....the not being able to see what gear im in is alright, 3 down for drive  ;D

that's good work mate, how much did the materials cost?
as I know you can buy the skirt/socks/whatever they're called, I was just wondering how much you saved?
I'm always one for doing it yourself rather than buying one in the shop and this looks really good.

nah he made the sock himself. for $5 which I think is atleast a $10 savings (which is 66% cheaper for all you mathematicians out there)

you could go into business and sell them at a market place :P just screen print FPV or HSV on them and they'll sell like hotcakes.
