Any U12 lip ideas ?????

hey guys, well i was just hoping to get some ideas on a front lip(spoiler) for my stanza.  i am totally happy with the way it looks right now, but i think a lil lip up front would give it a lil more style.  anyone else have a lip on their car, or any ideas floating around?  so far i was thinking of getting a 240sx(S13) lip because it looks very very similar in shape, help me out

it's lowered prettty low, and it's got a nice rake to it, so the lip has to be more on the thinner side than chucky side. here's a few crappy pics for reference.

Sheldon's got a lip on the front of his Corsair, instead of the whole TRX front bumper. You could PM him about that.

P.S.: Pretty nice car, mate. Could do with a rear spoiler, I reckon.

i can't imagine the car not being black, i had a white one before too, and when it came down to keeping only one... black was an easy choice. 

i think i saw sheldon's, but was that just a trx kit lip?

You can see he's just got a lip on the bottom part of the Corsair's front bumper, as opposed to replacing it completely with a TRX bumper. Looks pretty good, and probably a lot cheaper than finding/buying the TRX bumper.

TRX lips are quite rare, you'd be lucky to find the three piece lip for less than $100 on its own.

damn it, nothing's ever easy with a U12  . i guess i need to break out some sheetmetal and some fiberglass probably.

Grab some of that foam stuff they prototype body kits with, then carve out a rough shape, glass it, smooth it, cast a mould of it and then start selling copies of your unique lip

Some guy in NZ has cut about 5cm of the bottom of a U12 bumper, turned it upside down and 'viola' you have yourself a dodgy looking lip. Well at first glance it looked good, but then i took another look and noticed what it was

i was actually just looking, and i have an extra "bumper trim" . that's the piece in between the front bumper and headlights that goes all the way around, and i bet it i just cut it in half and extened it, it would make a great base for the lip.

if you can't get a trx font lip you could always get a trx spoiler and turn it upside down. Maybe yours won't have a couple of tins of thinners to hold it in place either.



I think it would look alright without the standard trx lip.

lol. i like that that rathies, might give it a shot if i see a trx with a spoiler at the wreckers

you see the ocassional non trx, sometimes corsair, with the same spoiler. less rare than a wrecker with a trx.
