electric mirrors
« on: Mar 12, 2006, 08:42AM »
can anyone give me a reference in a manual for the pins on the electric mirror control unit?  it may wind up being a trial and error tho, because i can't find it anywhere.

thanks

I think you'll still need to probe the plug and stuff a bit with a multimeter to figure things out but there should be enough information to make it certainly possible :)

Is F16 code for a connection (plug) or a fuse? If it's a fuse I'd imagine it's in the under-dash fusebox.

It wasn't really that hard, just sat down with a multimeter and a power supply and worked it all out, then ran 3 wires into each door and power and earth to the switch on the dash and hooked it all up.

Probably took 2-3 hours in total.

Rathies, could you send me your climate control stuff so I can install it into my car and write down what I did? :P
