I know what that's like Virus. I don't really like it though because it seems like there isn't enough daylight hours in a day :P

I go to bed between 10:30 and 11:30pm, get up around 7:15 on weekdays. On the weekend it's pretty much the same unless I don't work. This saturday will be good though, don't have to work until lunch time and get off at supper time... stupid staff meeting on sunday... who the heck has a staff meeting at 2:00-5:00 on a sunday? Taking time out of project 5 speed stanza <-- :o said too much.. ;)

I thought I should add to this, up at 6:00am every day of the week, in bed around 11 on a weeknight and later on a weekend.  7 hours a night is easy to survive on.

Homer!  What have you done to the car?  I don't think it had broken axles before.

Before!  Before!  You're living in the past, Marge.  Quit living in the past.

What, I never said I didn't like it asshat! :P

At least I don't think I did... but if I did, then I'm the asshat.

The old USSR had a single time zone. They had a hammer and sickle in the ground near the Kremlin much like a sundial.
Arguments raged for years as to what to call the timezone
Moscow Time?
Comrade Time?
In the end they all agreed.
Hammer Time.

If I've got a whole week or so to go to bed and sleep whenever I want, my sleep cycle just gets shifted later and later, until eventually I settle at about going to sleep at about 2 am/3 am and waking up at 6:30 pm or thereabouts. In any case, I need at least 13 hours of sleep, otherwise I'm tired. Kinda sucks living in a world where most people only need between 6 and 8 hours...  :-[

Yeah, pretty much. In WA there's this whole "Don't drive tired" ad campaign, but pfft. That means I can't drive at all. Screw that.   :(

damn man, this has really had me rethinking my sleep patterns, some nights i dont get into bed by 4 am, and i have to get up at 8 every morning.  ussually i get to sleep by 2-3 am.  but yah thats really not enough sleep at all, i always feel like shit.  then again i have a few friends who only sleep 3-4 days out of the week, and they aren't drug addicts (err not the kind that make you stay up at night anyway), not being able to sleep is horrible, maybe thats why i stay up all the time so i dont have trouble crashing out later.  being tired in life sucks, because after work theres no energy left to wrench on cars.

I try to get to bed around 10 (but usually fail). I have to get up at 7am 3 days a week, otherwise I get up around 8.30 and study the day away (yay!). It's such fun being a uni student!!
I noticed that the later I go to sleep, the earlier I wake up, provided I've been sleeping normally for a week or so beforehand.

I read somwhere that too little sleep reduces your IQ. That made me worried, so I tend to get a lot these days.

I always plan for 8-9 hours if nothing interferes. That means going to bed at 11 and waking up at about 8 but (if theres no appointment or anything) lying around awake in bed till the cat comes and licks my face or the wife comes and tells me off for being lazy.

In practice though, we have a lot of 6am starts for my wife's work so an ideal sleap is not possible.
