Dashboard colour
« on: Mar 13, 2005, 11:32AM »
Hey guys, does anyone know the easiest way to change the colour of the dashboard and similarly coloured section (eg. door handles, glove box, etc). I thought spraying it would be OK, but one of my mates did it to his Pulsar, and lets just say it looked shockingly distrubing. Anyone have any ideas?

well paint can be done and look good if done properly. if u spend the time and use the proper stuff it should come up great. talk to not so stock ride about how he did his, its a really good job
And there's not much I can say
But we miss you every day
And I'm bitter 'cause it's unfair
We'll be drinkin' in the sun
Playing music having fun
Cause one day I'll see you there

Paint looks shit.

use Vinyl Dye. Much easier to use, looks a lot better.

Also, if you were (for example) looking to make the plastics Red - you would probably have to dye the plastics White before you dye them Red, because of the dark stock colours.
