Cleaning the throttle body
« on: Jan 30, 2005, 09:16AM »
some of you may have heard me complaining of a bad idle, about 600 rpm when cold and 900 when hot, always moving up and down
i mentioned this to my mates dad who gave me a half suggestion of cleaning the throttle body
so i went to repco and bought an $11 can of the stuff and followed the directions on the can
worked a treat, my idle is now about 750 when cold and 950 when warm, and is a lot more stable
give it a go if youre idle is suffering.
