WTB: U12 Manual Gearbox (preferably LSD) (Melb)

The final-drive is going in mine, Need a replacement ASAP.

I figure its time for an upgrade to an LSD too so a Passenger shaft would be useful (I believe thats the one you need when upgrading to an LSD).

I'm in Coburg, Parents are in Croydon, Mechanic is in Bayswater, somewhere in between would be nice. But if my car will make it I'll travel to get one.

Or does anyone know of a Ti or TRX at a wreckers with low KM's?
Can i use a U13 box?

Is it fully bolt in compatible with the U12 or do i need to steal any other parts?
I'm expecting to be able to take a Passenger drive shaft and a gearbox from any KA24 U12/U13 and bolt it into my U12 with the non-LSD.
Or do I need the drive shaft from a U12 and the gearbox from either a U12/U13.

Taking stuff from a u13 wreck would be easiest. You need the vlsd shaft and that's about all that's different I think.

Different gearbox mount. U13 has the mount on the top of the box, u12 is on the side.

However the internals and LSD of the 50v boxes are all the same for u12/u13 maxima etc if
You want to pull them apart and swap housings which I wouldn't do.
