KA24DE 1994 Blubird SSS U13 Trobleshooting

G'day guys,

Hopefully you guys can help me out. My car cut out the other day on starting, didnt want to restart staright away, finally fired cut out twice on the way home. Got her home did'nt want to restart again. The car has done an impressive 377,700 km and was well maintained by the one previous owner. I have now replaced the dizzy and coil. Timing is spot on my mechanic mate done it, but it is now missing under load?Got us both buggered! Also the cut out has come back. No spark is the prob there? Any suggestions on both the problems?

Split in the lead, where it does down between the cams into the head to connect with the spark plug. How old are your leads?

Leads are 12months old. I have had the car for two yrs and it's been fine and I have looked after it, it was a one owner with full service history. Since I've had it it's been serviced reguarly

Try swapping the dizzy cap with the old one?

i'll give it a go... seem to think i got a dodgey dizzy even tho its new

was the dizzy, bought a defect one, but the old girl is back and firing so $400 i'm happy
