Hey guys

It is to my disappointment to say that my Nissan Attesa of 7 years ownership has come to its death after I was rear ended a few months ago. Unfortunately, insurance assessed it as a write off due to structural damage in the rear. It hasn't been registered as a repairable write off as I took possession of the car. Anyway, I'm parting it out for all of the car is worth inside and out. Unless someone wants to buy the complete car as a project into another shell? I'll list what I can remember of the car and the work that has been done on her.

Automatic gearbox rebuilt and modified with stall converter for fast gear shifting, quicker than a manual!!!! ***SOLD AS PART OF WRECKED CAR***
Upgraded Garrett GT25 ball bearing turbo for quicker spooling ***SOLD AS PART OF WRECKED CAR***
Jaycar 2 stage boost controller
Jaycar Digital Fuel adjuster
Walbro 255L/hr internal fuel pump
Also have the standard internal factory fuel pump
King Springs lowered springs front and rear ***Front & rear sets are SOLD***
Tokico shock absorbers front and rear ***Front set are SOLD***

Aftermarket intercooler made to fit to original factory intercooler piping

The engine still runs fine with plenty of power. It will start and can show you it running if required. It just isn't legally drivable. You would need to tow the whole vehicle if you wanted the engine and all.

Now for the extra parts I have lying around up for grabs since I'm cleaning out the garage:

2 x sets of Nissan sideskirts (one set on the car, other set just needs a repaint, is currently black)
1 x Nissan front spoiler lip (minor cracks but been repaired)
1 x Nissan rear spoiler (LED plastic cracked but repairable but lights still work and clips for boot mounting broken)
1 x rear back seat cover that separates the back seat from the boot (made from that corrugated plastic)

Do you still drive the U12?

How much for the tokico's and the king springs, all four?

How old are the tokico's? Would be for my daily to replace its worn original stuts.

Oh, and also the power folding mirrors and in-cabin switch as well.

Yeah, was a bit disappointed by it but I guess all good things come to an end.

It encouraged me to get the U12 Attesa running again though as I needed a car. She's now my daily driver but boy does she lack the get up and go! lol

lgee - front lip spoiler I'd be looking at $150 as its so damn freaking rare and the hours I've spent fixing it up. Though it would have to be a pick up as its too flimsy to send.

Budgee - The Tokico struts were replaced in 2008. I had them checked by a suspension place mid last year and was told they are still good and didn't need replacing yet. Not sure how long suspension struts actually last. I can do $400 for all 4 struts with the lowered king springs. How does that sound?

As for the power folding mirror, only the passenger side works. The driver's side has a worn cog made of plastic of course.

So it doesn't wind in or out but if you can find a replacement cog, it will work as normal. Also the mount was broken but had it fixed with an aluminium plate. Aside from that its fine, just needs to be painted. You can have both power folding mirrors with the in-cabin switch for $50.

By the way Budgee, I thought you only drove a U12 Attesa? When did you get a U13 Attesa?

awd2.0t - Read about your accident last year. Bit sad how they write off vehicles so easily these days. Such a consumable society. How does $30 sound for the driver's side rear brake light?

Oh ok mate. I thought the struts were newer than that. I will pass on them and the mirrors at the moment, don't need them that urgently.

Real shame they wrote your car off. Your right, it is a consumable society. All the TV's you see on the side of the road prove that daily!

I'm probably one of the very few who still choose to have a fully working CRT TV in their home. Actually I have 3.

The only flatscreen I have is my monitor for a secondary screen on my laptop. I'm waiting for my CRT's to break before I buy a new TV. Its been a few years waiting so far. I suspect more years to come.

By the way, had a look at the kms done in my log book since replacing the struts and its been about 70,000kms.

Ive also had a small rear ender and now need a U13 Atessa rear bumper bar.
Does anyone know of an Atessa being wrecked in AUS?

A good condition steering wheel would be great too.
