You're going backwards with displacement, the engines are probably the same in regards to technology advancements, isn't the FJ older though? If that's true, you can't do it legally (engine replacement must be the same or newer)

Why don't you spend your money on a turbo kit for the KA? It will be plenty fast.

FJ's are N/S engines, whereas KA's (at least the ones on pintara's and bluebirds) are E/W...
too much fucking around and $$$ then it will be worth...
