sr cv shaft angles??
« on: Nov 4, 2010, 12:35PM »
i recently had my cv's rebuilt and after 2-3 months they're stuffed. the cv guys are saying that its the angle that they are on(not the height) that the engine should be back more and this is causing the boot to pinch & split.. i don't see how this can be the case as its on the drivers side, . any way just after opinions even a photo would be great.

turns out when they where rebuilt they used the normal u12 outers modified to get the spline count. As a result, the right hand side was too long and the left to short, which caused numerous problems(shudder when breaking, general vibration, boot split, and suspension travel seems better since). sourced primera outers all good again. so far...
